This first activity involves sorting cards with words and images on into those relating to plant cells and those relating to animal cells. This can then be adapted to include the functions of each part of the cell as well.

The second activity is a barrier game which allows learners to revise and consolidate the structure and functions of basic plant and animal cells as part of the living organisms topic. This game supports learners in writing their own descriptions with the help of a partner.
